Asst. Supt. Wilson requested approval for the new RECU employees (the list is provided <br />in the pre -meeting notes). Motion to approve the new employees. Motion made by Erin <br />Bechtold, seconded by Lynn Adams. Motion carried. <br />The new tornado siren has been installed. Electricity needs to be run. <br />Halloween Hike was a huge success. We had over 100 volunteers and estimated over <br />1000 participants. One section of the story book trail was damaged due to the hayride <br />tractor. Suggestion is for 2022 to take place the Saturday before Halloween at the same <br />time. <br />The winter dances will not take place in the 2022 year due to not being able to secure <br />school facilities. <br />According to our lawyer, part-time seasonal rates do not need to be part of the Town's <br />Salary ordinance. We need to make sure there is enough money within our budget to <br />justify a rate increase. <br />The maintenance department is underway winterizing the bathrooms. <br />The RECU Program is in dire need of employees to keep the program. For safety issues, <br />we will need to close the program at a school if we can't find employees. <br />Claims approved by voiding check to RD Productions. Motion made by Erin Bechtold, <br />seconded by David Pearson.
