Chris Hobbick advised that an executive session would be <br />scheduled for a later date. <br />Chief Buckner advised the following changes to the department roster: Captain Brian Kays <br />stepped down from the position and was transferred to day shift as a patrol officer. Detective <br />Chad Richhart requested to return to a road position and was transferred to day shift as a patrol <br />officer. Officer Lindsay Hayden was transferred to the detective division. Lieutenant John Forbes <br />was transferred to Captain. <br />Chief Buckner updated the police commission on the hiring process. <br />Chief Buckner updated the police commission on the body camera grant. <br />Chief Buckner advised that he would be assigning SOP's to his sergeants and lieutenants to <br />review. Once they had been reviewed and rewritten, they would then be forwarded to the police <br />commission for approval. If they were approved, they would be made into PDF files that could <br />not be altered. <br />Chief Buckner advised that the Training Board meets in October and he expects that they will <br />issue guidance on pursuits and use of force.
