MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022 <br />Mooresville Government Center <br />Commission Members present: Brian Culp, Dustin Stanley, Erin Pipkin, Ryan Taylor and Dana <br />Heidenreich. Project Manager Chelsey Manns was also present. School representative lake Allen and <br />Redevelopment Commission Attorney Adam Steuerwald were absent. <br />Commissioner Stanley called the meeting to order. <br />Minutes: Minutes were presented from the Sept. 29 Executive session. Commissioner Pipkin made a <br />motion to approve the minutes. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 5-0. <br />Minutes were presented from the Sept. 29 public meeting. Commissioner Heidenreich made a motion to <br />approve the minutes. Commissioner Pipkin seconded the motion, which carried 5-0. <br />Financials: Financials were provided by the Clerk -Treasurer's office. Commissioner Culp made the <br />motion to approve the financials as presented. Commissioner Taylor seconded the motion, which <br />carried 5-0. <br />Mooresville Business Center Update: Project Manager Manns reported that she has been negotiating <br />leads for property in the business center. <br />Brownfield Assessment grant: Application deadline is Nov. 22 and Project Manager Manns is working <br />closely with SME to complete the process. <br />Plan Amendment update: Tax hearing is scheduled for Dec. 1. <br />SR 67 Lighting: Street department installed lighting at the south gateway sign. <br />Legal/Managerial update: Nothing to report. <br />Review of Claims: The claims were presented In the amount of $27,539.93, Commissioner Culp made <br />the motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Pipkin seconded the motion, which <br />carried 5-0. <br />
