Mooresville Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners <br />Police Department Ernie Wilson <br />Fred Settle <br />Christopher Hobbick <br />MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br />These are the minutes of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission, <br />held at the Mooresville Police Department on January 19, 2023. <br />Members Present: Ernie Wilson, Chris Hobbick <br />Also Present: Chief Buckner, Attorney Braun <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. <br />Chris Hobbick made a motion to approve the minutes from the November 18th meeting. Ernie <br />Wilson seconded the motion. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chris Hobbick made a motion to approve the minutes from the November 181h executive <br />meeting. Ernie Wilson seconded the motion. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chris Hobbick made a motion to approve the minutes from the December 15`h meeting. Ernie <br />Wilson seconded the motion. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />No Old Business from the Police Commission. <br />No Old Business from the Chief of Police. <br />No Old Business from the Police Commission attorney. <br />Chief Buckner presented the Commission with two new SOPS: Body Worn Cameras and <br />Eavesdropping/Unauthorized Recording. <br />Regarding SOP Eavesdropping/Unauthorized Recording, there was discussion between the <br />members of the commission, the attorney and the chief of police. Chris Hobbick made a motion <br />to approve the SOP with the changes made as discussed. Ernie Wilson seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Regarding SOP Body Worn Cameras, there was discussion between the members of the <br />commission, the attorney and the chief of police. Chris Hobbick made a motion to approve the <br />SOP as written. Ernie Wilson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
