MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, MAY 10, 2001 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met on Thursday, May 10, 2001, at 7:00 P.M. <br />at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Member present were: Don Barry, President, Jeff Justice, Alan Kramer, Jonathan Swisher <br />and Mike Young. Town Attorney, Tim Currens, was also present. <br /> <br />Motion to approve minutes of April 12, 2001 was made by Jonathan Swisher and second <br />by Alan Kramer. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Next was a variance for set back for a sign at 201 Kitchen Road. Eugene Perry, <br />representing the Church at Mt. Gilead, requesting a variance for a 7.5 fi. set back instead <br />of the 15 fi. set back from the property line as required by town ordinance. The sign will <br />be 4 feet by 15 feet lighted sign made of brick. The sign will be located on State Road <br />144. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the variance from 20 feet to 6 feet with the 6 feet including the brick <br />was made by Alan Kramer and second by Jonathan Swisher. Motion carried 5-0 <br /> <br />The next meeting for the Board of Zoning Appeals will be June 14, 2001 at 7:00 P. M. at <br />the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the board, a motion to adjourn was made <br />by Alan Kramer and second by Jeff Justice. <br /> <br />Don Barry, President <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
