Elizabeth Smith appeared before the Council to provide an update on Victorian Christmas. An anonymous <br />donation was made, which enabled her to no longer require the town's assistance. <br />Councilman Swinney made the motion to approve claims for $643,895.94. Councilman Brown seconded. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />Councilman Swinney made the motion to approve payroll clearing for $200,049.77. Councilman Brown <br />seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Town Council Comments— <br />Councilman Williams expressed his satisfaction and pride during his efforts to fight for the betterment of <br />the town, its employees, and the citizens. <br />The next regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at <br />6:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Government Center. There being no further business to come before the <br />council at this time a motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Brown with a second from Councilman <br />Swinney.
