Mooresville Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners <br />Police Department Ernie Wilson <br />Fred Settle <br />Christopher Hobbick <br />MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br />These are the minutes of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission, <br />held at the Mooresville Police Department on November 16, 2023. <br />Members Present: Fred Settle (via phone), Chris Hobbick, Ernie Wilson <br />Also Present: Chief Kerry Buckner <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. <br />The meeting minutes from October 19"s meeting will be approved at the next meeting. <br />Old Business <br />No old business from the Police Commission or Chief Buckner <br />New Business <br />No new business from the Police Commission. <br />Commissioner Hobbick presented the commission with an invoice from Attorney Braun to renew <br />his contract for the 2024 year. Hobbick stated that the retainer fee has not changed since Braun <br />has been the commission's attorney. Commissioner Wilson made a motion to approve paying the <br />invoice and retaining Braun. Commissioner Settle seconded the motion. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />There was discussion among the commissioners on whether to cancel the December meeting or <br />not. The meeting will stay on the calendar and if necessary, it will be cancelled. <br />No new business from Chief Buckner. <br />The next meeting will be held on December 21, 2023. <br />Meeting adjourned at 6:10 PM. <br />
