NEW BUSINESS <br />7.1 Build Operate Transfer (BOT) <br />7.1.1 Town Attorney, Chul-Lee, spoke with the Park Board about the BOT process. <br />7.1.1.1 Upon a motion by Mark Taylor, seconded by Danny Lundy, the Board 7/0, approving <br />the RFPQ as drafted. <br />Fi�7�IZ*7:iiTL� <br />8. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />-- 8.1 Assistant Superintendent Report <br />8.1.1 RECU is open for the second semester, currently with 345 students enrolled. <br />8.1.2 Daddy/Daughter Date Night is February 10 at Mooresville High School Cafe with no <br />limits on tickets sold. <br />8.1.3 Registration for shelters and Spring programming opened on January 2. <br />8.1.4 Summer concert schedule was released by RD Production last month. <br />8.1.5 Summer staff from 2023 have until March 1 to decide if they would like to return in <br />2024. <br />8.2 Superintendent Report <br />8.2.1 Contracts for 2024 will be presented at the February 2024 meeting. <br />8.2.2 Installation for electronic sign will be in March 2024 <br />8.2.2 Two proposals for the Parks Five Year Master Plan were presented. Superintendent <br />Cornelius asked for open discussion. <br />7.2.2.1 Upon a motion by Mark Taylor seconded by Lynn Adams the Board voted 7/0 to <br />approve to table derision until work session.
