0 <br />5.2.1 Upon a motion by Lynn Adams, seconded by Mak Taylor the Board voted 7/0 to <br />award Meyer Najem the BOT. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />6.1 Mooresville Family Aquatic Center — Pool Painting Project <br />6.1.1 Upon a motion by Mark Taylor, seconded by Danny Lundy; the Board voted 7/0 <br />to remove swim lines and paint pool white with in-house staff per industry <br />standards. <br />6.2 Old Town Park — Surplus Action for Old Town Park Playground Equipment <br />6.2.1 Upon a motion by Brent Callahan, seconded by Danny Shaw; the Board voted <br />7/0 to declare the playground equipment at Old Town Park surplus and to <br />dispose of the equipment. <br />7. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />8.1 Assistant Superintendent Report <br />8.1.1 Asst. Superintendent ask the Board to ratify new hires with the list presented on <br />RFA 8.1. <br />8.1.1.1 Upon a motion by Brent Callahan, seconded by Mark Taylor; the <br />Board voted 7/0 to ratify the hiring of RECU employees listed in <br />RFA 8.1. <br />8.1.2 Daddy/Daughter Date Night went well with 210 tickets sold. <br />8.1.3 Registration for Summer programming will open April 1. <br />8.1 A Food trucks slots for the Summer Concert Schedule are nearly filled. <br />8.1.5 Surveys for programming are coming is with a 66% approval rate. <br />8.2 Superintendent Report <br />8.2.1 Installation for the electronic sign will be installed February 13'. <br />8.2.2 Lehman & Partner are working hard at creating new layouts and concept <br />drawing from the December 19`h meeting. Benchmark date scheduled for the <br />end of February. <br />9. CITIZEN'S COMMENTS <br />Mike Myntti , Morgan County Special Olympics, asked for ways the Park could partnership with the <br />Special Olympics. <br />
