1934 <br />New Business — <br />Redevelopment Commission consultant Chelsie Manns came before the Town Council members <br />to inform council members about the statutorily new requirement to formally present the April <br />15 Report. During the presentation, Mrs. Manns provided a breakdown of ,revenue received, <br />expenses paid, and the remaining balance as of December 31, 2023. Additionally, she provided <br />a summary of the activities undertaken in 2023. <br />Councilman Swinney moved to accept the RDC April 15 report, which Councilman Brown <br />seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Chelsea Manns gave an update on the traffic light project at SR 67 and Merriman Rd. Permits <br />have been applied. However, INDOT now requests a maintenance traffic plan to move forward. <br />Department Head Reports - <br />Chief Dalton gave the run stats for March. He also shared updates on the action plan for the <br />upcoming eclipse weekend of April 6 through 8th. He mentioned that a department member has <br />resigned to pursue another opportunity, and he will initiate interviewing and hiring to fill the <br />vacant position. <br />Legal — <br />None <br />Public Comments — <br />None <br />Approval Claims - <br />Councilman Swinney made the motion to approve claims for $647,812.31. Councilman Brown <br />seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Approval of Payroll Clearing - <br />Councilman Swinney motioned to approve payroll clearing for $256,004.39. Councilman Brown <br />seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Town Council Comments— <br />Councilman Cook expressed frustration with the ongoing issue with Telemagen invoices. He <br />wants to resolve this and asked legal counsel Hayley Sears to have legal counsel Chou -Ii respond <br />to his email. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, <br />April 16, 2024, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center <br />With no further business before the Council, Councilman Brown motioned to adjourn, which <br />Councilman Swinney seconded.
