Patel Site: Manns shared there's been a lot of work on the Build -Operate -Transfer (BOT) agreement for <br />the new road with Commercial Team Construction (CTC). They did receive an executed copy by CTC for <br />the Commission to review and consider. <br />Commissioner Culp requested the contractor purchase the builder's risk. Because the road is <br />uninsurable, he requested that portion of continued coverage after completion be stricken from the <br />contract. He also requested on the Certificate of Insurance, the Commission request Additionally <br />Insured on the auto and umbrella waiver of subrogation on workers compensation. <br />Y <br />Attorney Steuerwald asked what the contingency dollar amount was, which Manns shared was $46,200. <br />He asked that be included as well. <br />Commissioner Culp made the motion to approve the BOT Agreement pending the proposed changes <br />were accepted by the contractor. Commissioner Swinney seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Main Street: Manns shared there should be renderings for different options to be considered within the <br />next month. June 12' will be the next business and public meeting at a time and place to be <br />determined. The design team will be the speaker at the June 201h chamber luncheon in place of the <br />regular office hours for the month, <br />Parks: Manns shared she did speak with Parks Superintendent Phil Cornelius who is working through <br />the scoping period currently. She expects more of an update within the next two months. <br />Legal/Managerial Update: No update. <br />Review of Claims: The claims were presented in the amount of $30,533.17. Commissioner Culp made <br />the motion to approve the claims as presented.
