1.35 <br />July 2, 2024 <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, Juty 2, 2024, at 6:30 P.M. at the <br />Mooresville Government Center. <br />Council members present were Council President Tom Warthen, Councilman Greg Swinney, <br />Councilman Jeff Cook, Councilman Josh Brown, and Councilman Kirk Witt. Town Attorney Chou -it <br />Lee was also present. <br />Council President Warthen gave the invocation and called the meeting to order. <br />Councilman Swinney motioned to approve the June 18 executive session minutes, seconded by <br />Councilman Brown. The motion carried 5-0. <br />Councilman Swinney motioned to approvethe June 18th meeting minutes, seconded by Councilman <br />Brown. The motion carried 5-0. <br />Unfinished Business - <br />Public Hearing Stormwater Management Ordinance 3-2024—No public comments existed. <br />Councilman Brown motioned to close the public hearing, which Councilman Swinney seconded. The <br />motion carried 5-0. <br />Councilman Swinney made a motion to approve Ordinance 3-2024. Councilman Brown seconded. <br />The motion carried 5-0. <br />Creative Foam CF -1 Real Property. At the time of the abatement request, thereat property investment <br />estimate was $325,000.00, and the actual investment was $346,252.30. The estimated employment <br />number was 170, and the current actual employment number is 115. <br />Councilman Cook motioned to find Creative Foam in substantial compliance with Resolution 1- <br />2021. Councilman Swinney seconded. The motion carried 5-0. <br />Creative Foam CF -1 Personal Property. At the time of the abatement request, the personal property <br />investment estimate was $487,137.00, and the actual investment was $258,745.73. The estimated <br />employment number was 224, and the current actual employment number is 115. <br />Councilman Swinney moved to find Creative Foam in substantial compliance with Resolution 2- <br />2021. Councilman Brown seconded. The motion carried 5-0. <br />ICL`\�E7G1r .7-i%Ti[Tri� <br />At the time of the abatement request, the personal property investment estimate was <br />$43,450,000.00. The actual investment was $40,442,628.00. The estimated employment number <br />was 666, and the current actual employment number is 633. <br />Councilman Swinney moved to find TOA in substantial compliance with Resolution 8-2015. <br />Councilman Brown seconded. The motion carried 5-0. <br />At the time of the abatement request, the real property investment estimate was $38,023,396.30. <br />The actual investment was $37,934,620. The estimated employment number was 666, and the <br />current actual employment number is 633. <br />Councilman Swinney motioned to find TOA in substantial compliance with Resolution 8-2015. <br />Councilman Brown seconded. The motion carried 5-0. <br />At the time of the abatement request, the personal property investment estimate was $5,477,560 <br />actual investment was $11,720,050. The estimated employment number was 722, and the current <br />actual employment number is 633. <br />
