MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Thursday, <br />Wednesday, July 10, 2024 6:00pm <br />Mooresville Government Center <br />Commission Members present: Brian Culp, Greg Swinney, Dana Heidenreich and Ryan Taylor were <br />present. School representative Dr. Jake Allen was present. Project Manager Chelsey Manns and <br />Attorney Adam Steuerwald were present. <br />Commissioner Taylor called the meeting to order and followed with an invocation. <br />Minutes: Minutes were presented from the June 6, 2024 public meeting. Commissioner Culp made the <br />motion to approve the minutes as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which <br />carried 4-0. <br />Financials: Financials were provided by the Clerk -Treasurer's office via email. Manns noted the debt <br />I <br />service payments for the sewer bond as well as the Gateway bond was paid. Commissioner Culp made <br />the motion to approve the minutes as presented. Commissioner Swinney seconded the motion, which <br />carried 4-0. <br />New Business: No new business. <br />Ongoing Business: <br />Mooresville Business Center Update: Manns shared a portion of the underground work forthe new <br />signal at Merriman and SR67 has been completed by the contractor. <br />Patel Site: Manns presented a construction observation contract in the amount of $96,000 for the road. <br />She noted that Superintendent of Public Works Dave Moore requested the Commission have <br />observation as the road is going to be the Town's after construction. The amount is an estimate as <br />they'll charge hourly. Commissioner Culp made the motion to approve the contract as presented. <br />Commissioner Swinney seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Manns met onsite with Moore, the CTC team, contractors, Banning Engineering and representatives <br />from PacMoore in a pre -construction meeting for the new road which is set to begin later this month. <br />Main Street: Manns shared the design team presented at the June chamber luncheon as well as a <br />public meeting on June 20`h. Around fifty members of the public participated in the public meeting. She <br />
