Mooresville Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners Police Department Ernie Wilson Fred Settle Christopher Hobbick MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES These are the minutes of the scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission, held at the Mooresville Police Department on July 18, 2024. Members Present: Chris Hobbick, Ernie Wilson Also Present: Chief Buckner The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. Commissioner Hobbick made a motion to approve the minutes from the May 16"' meeting. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion. No discussion. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Hobbick made a motion to approve the minutes from the June 20th meeting. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion. No discussion. The motion passed unanimously. No old business from the Police Commission. No old business from the Chief of Police. No old business from the Attorney. No new business from the Police Commission. Chief Buckner presented the Police Commission with the name of a lateral police officer, Odali Moreno. She is currently in the final stages of her PERF requirements. Commissioner Hobbick recommended an executive session once the requirements have been completed and to get her approved. No new business from the Attorney. No public comments. The next meeting will be held on August 15, 2024.
