V3174) <br />Councilman Swinney motioned to proceed with the Stryker Life Pack purchase in conjunction with <br />Brown Township and utilize the Unrestricted Opioid Fund for the purchase. Councilman Cook <br />seconded. The motion carried 4-0. <br />One new hire's pension board meeting is scheduled for later in the month. Additionally, Chief Dalton <br />is initiatingthe process of filling the remaining open positions. <br />Legal— <br />Town Attorney Lee presented the ARPA Subrecipient Agreement, which is necessary for the Town to <br />receive the $2 million funding offered by Morgan County for Phase II of the wastewater treatment <br />project. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions required to secure these funds. Council <br />President Worthen assured that the additional funds for the project are available. <br />Councilman Swinney motioned to approve the subrecipient agreement, seconded by Councilman <br />Witt. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Town Attorney Lee informed the council members that we are awaiting AT&T's finalization of the <br />approved contract. <br />Public Comments — <br />There were none <br />Town Council Comments - <br />There were none. <br />Approval of Claims - <br />Councilman Swinney madethe motion to approve claims for $744,208.28, seconded by Councilman <br />Witt seconded. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Approval of Payroll Clearing - <br />Councilman Swinney made the motion to approve payroll clearing of $244,553.27, seconded by <br />Councilman Witt. Motion carried 4-0. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, <br />September 17, 2024, at 6:30 P.M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br />With no further business to come before the council at this time, Councilman Swinney motioned to <br />adjourn, seconded by Councilman Witt.
