MOORESV1LLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> MAY 10,109o <br /> <br />The Mooresville Board of Zoaing Appeab met for thek regular meeting on May 19,1999, <br />in the Meefng Room of the Town Hall at 26 South Indiana Slxe~t, Board members present <br />was Donald Bany, Alan Kramer and Mike Yonng. Those absent from the meeting were <br />Vem Kimmel and Brent PlunkeR. Tim Currera Town Attorney was al~o present for the <br />meeting. With the absence of Chairman Plunkett, Donald Barry took the Chair. <br /> <br />rl]~e first thing on the agenda was Parricia Allman with a request for a variance to put a Mobil <br />Home on their property on Coantry Club Road. The Allmans were not present, but Mx <br />Currens had spoken to Mr. Allman since the last meeting, tte told Mr. Allman that their <br />request did not meet ottr standard~. <br /> <br />The next firing on rite agenda was the sign vm-iance for Quest Jolmson. No was present <br />at the meeting since there was a question on the request the Quest Johnson Sign Variance <br />x~411 be heard on June 16,1999. <br /> <br />The Landy' s of 324 Northeast Street came to the Board asking for a setback for an exci~ing <br />Garage that is to be remolded to a residence. The Lundy's are asking an 8 feet 30 feet on <br />Variance will be on the north and west. With no question the Developmental standards <br />were read. Motion to accept the variance reqnest was made by Alan Kramer with the <br />second coming Mike Young, the motion earned 3-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Ms Sherfi Herbertz representing HoHoway and A~sociates asking for a variance for Fisher <br />Perry tbr a setback of 10 feet to ~,0 feet to place a ATM machine at Southbridge Crossing. <br />The variance is needed so as to not ase to many parking spaces. The machine will be <br />set north and south and should not need to take any more than 5 parking spaces. A motion <br />was made to accept the variance by Mike Young and seconded by Alan Kramer, the vote <br />passed 3-0 with none opposed <br /> <br />Sherri Ilerbertz requesting a setback variance from 50 feet to 30 feet on lots 9 and 10 <br />Arcadia Estates for Jim and Geraldine Henry. The variance is needed for septic placement. <br />The sethaek to be 50 l~et away fi.om a lake. A resident made a statement that when he <br />bought Ids lots he was told that there would not be anything built on those lots. He ~ thought <br />it would not look nice. l~k Currens told the resident that the Boards only concern at fids <br />time was the setback only. With no other questions Mr. Barry read the Developemtal <br />Standards. after the reading a motion was made to deny the request by Alan Kramer <br />and seconded by Mike Young the vote to deny was 3-0 to deny. <br /> <br />With no other business before the board at this time a motion to adjourn came from Mike <br />Yonng, second fi.om Alan Kramer the vote to adjourn was 3-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />The next meetin$ of the Moore~ville Board ofZoning Appeal~ will be held on June 16,1999 <br />at he Moores~411e Totem Hall. <br /> <br /> <br />
