MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> <br />The Town of Mooresvilie Board of zoning Appeal~ met for their zogular meeting on <br />February 17,1999. Board members present was Br,nt PlunkeR, ALan Knuner, Mike Young, <br />Vern Kinuneli and Donald Beny. Tim Current, Town attorney was also present for the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vent Kimmell to approve the minutes from the January 20.1999 <br />Donald Barry made the second to the motion. Motion carried 5-0 with none apposed. <br /> <br />Clay Cooper of 319 South Monroe street came before the Board ~slclng for a variance for <br />21 West Mah~ The property in question is owned by Sue Htmunel and Boyd Head. Mr. <br />Cooper is askin~ for the variance to be able to purchase the property, to sell used motor <br />Cycles also with accessories and service. <br /> <br />Joyce Hubbard of the Nature Connection opposed the bushtess saying it would add to <br />noise and gathering of motor cycle riders, she feels this would be bad for business in the <br />areu. Jordan Whittey also opposed the variance. Larry Lon~ stated that he felt Mr Cooper <br />Would nm a good operation? <br /> <br />The Facts and Pindins~ were read by Breat Pl,mkett ~ which Alan Kramer motioned <br />to &my the variance the socond came from Vern Kimmell. The variance was denied 5-0 <br />with none opposed. <br /> <br />Mark Mathis came to the board requesting a vuriance for 140 Brid~e Stxeet, in order to <br />have a tmduess at that address. After readinl~ of Facts and Pin{ling by Brent Pltmkett s <br />motion to 8Xa~t the ~a~iance was made by Donald Barry with the second coming from <br />Mike Young. the vote to 8rant the variance for Mr. Mst_his was 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br /> Alan Kramer excused his self from the board to relaresent Mr. and M. rs.Dome Noel in <br /> Asking for a Set Back Variance to build a new home on Keller Hill Road. The variance <br /> was for the ~t back to 20 feet instead of the required 65 feet. Af~ the reading of Facts <br /> and Findings there was a motion from Mi~e Yoan~ to grant the variance Veto Kimmell <br /> made a second to Mr. YonnSs motion. The vote was 5.0 with none opposed. <br />////~cOSS Hollowsy xep~esontin~ the I~roger C. came to the board requesting a s~. set back <br /> e. The request is for a 5 foot set back instead of the required the requged 60 foot. <br /> ARer the reedin~ of the Facts and Findings Mike Youn~ motioned to 8xunt the variance <br /> request for the 5 foot set back for the Krol~ ~ the second ceme from Donald Barry. <br /> The variance was granted with a 5-0 vote with none opposed. Also the variance for the <br /> maxhnum sign foot~e on one lot w~ IFanted. The motion to grant the variance came <br /> from Donald Berry and the second from Alan Krumer. <br /> <br />Motion to adjourn was made by Veto Kimmell and seconded by Alan Kramer, vote to <br />adjourn w~s 5-0. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the Mooresville Board of Zoning will be Mamh 17,1999 <br /> <br /> <br />
