Mr. Remster's property is located in the <br />northwest quadrant of the intersection of State Highways 67 and 144, adjoining and <br />directly east of Squealers Restaurant parcel. <br /> <br />Two of the options Mr. Haggard wants to keep open for the property are the use for <br />automobile sales and/or mini-warehousing. As can be seen from the attached drawing <br />because of the unique and difficult topography of the parcel there are limited uses. <br />Under Mooresville Zoning Ordinance both of these uses are allowed in a General <br />Business (B-3) District with a special exception. In order accomplish this it will be <br />necessary to rezone the property to B-3 and obtain the special exception. To expedite <br />the various zoning issues we are asking the this matter be forwarded as soon as <br />possible to the Mooresville Plan Commission for a finding on the manner in which the <br />proposed location and character of the special exceptions will affect the Master Land <br />Use Plan.
