MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
MINUTES
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9,2004

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met on Thursday, September 9,2004 at 7:00 P.M. at
the Mooresville Town Hall.

Board members present were: Chairman, Alan Kramer, Christopher Crouch and Don Barry.
Members absent were: Mike Young and Jon Swisher. Town Attorney, Tim Currens was
present.

Next of the agenda was Greg Davidson, 875 E County Line Road, requesting a variance to build
a unattached garage which will exceed the front of the house. There will be ten feet between the
house and the garage to meet the six-foot firewall code. They are planning to build a breezeway
between the house and the garage next year. Mr. Kramer asked if the house set about 140 feet
from the front of the property and Mr. Davidson said that was correct.

After reading the facts-of-findings for a variance from development standards, Mr. Kramer asked
for a motion to approve or deny the variance. Motion was made by Christopher Crouch, second
by Don Barry, to approve the variance from development standards for 875 E. County Line Road
for a garage to exceed the front of the house. Motion carried 3-0.

There being no further business to come before the board a motion to adjourn was made by Don
Barry, second by Christopher Crouch.
