_ the July 27, 2000 meeting. Attoney Tim Currens told Mr. Stewart he had the option to go before
the Board of Zoning Appeals for a variance to lot size.

Mr. Miller had sent a letter to the Plan Commission concerning this property, but Mr. Miller was
not present at the meeting.

Ross Holloway presented a preliminary sketch for a residential subdivision located at Keys Road
and Bethel Road. This would be single family homes comparible to Pioneer Country Estates on
one acre tracts. The homes would be on a septic and on public water. The first phase would be
approximately 45 homes. Attorney Tim Currens stated the commission should probably go with
zoning R-l, but bring in covenants for sizes and Mr. Holloway said they could also put zoning
commitments on plat.

Ross Holloway also brought in a problem; On May 11, 1999 the Jackson-Catalier property
located on Hadley Road at the edge of Town buffer was rezoned to a four lot minor plat. The
title company had come up with a question concerning a small part of Lot 7. Town attorney Tim
Currens will write a letter to Marvel Title Company.

~

Other business before the commission. A variance was granted to the property owner on
Indianapolis Road by the railroad track to operate a business in their home. The corner of High
Street and South Indiana Street had been rezoned to business and there are people living there.
This property is owned by David Burns. Town attorney Tim Currens will send a letter.
Commissioner Pygman voiced a complaint he had received concerning two lots in Trinity
Estates. Commissioner Beebe said the lot owner's association should bring this up at their next
meeting.

Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported thirty-four (34) permits and ninety-four (94)
inspections.
Mr. Beikman had also received a request to use the IGA parking lot for a temporary used car lot
operating for ten days. Motion was made by Commissioner Bruner, second by Commissioner
Young to approve by concensus to allow Joe Beikman to sign for the permit.

There being no further business to come before the commission at this time, a motion was made
to adjourn.

The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission wiU be on Thursday, July 27, 2000, at the
Mooresville Town Hall.

"--'

ATTEST:

aL e-~
S~ (fV
