<br />Bennett abstaining. <br /> <br />---- <br /> <br />President Beebe infonned the commission they had the opportunity to attend a Growth <br />Management Conference in Columbus, IN. Members wishing to attend need to inform the <br />Clerk's office by March 6, 2000. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ehrhart told the Commission residents of Momingside Acres were concerned <br />about Arvin Hopkins gravel pit on State Highway 67 South. Attoney Currens informed the <br />Commission his understanding was mining was being done in the acres they could mine in a non <br />flood plain area, approximately twenty-two acres and this is by State statute. <br /> <br />EDC Director Harold Gutzwiller reported a Visual Plan-Final document on transportation is in <br />final draft and he hopes to have a meeting of all plan commission members and elected officials <br />to comment on the document. He said Johnson County is working to provide bus services to and <br />from Indy. The document will be available in Clerk's office for viewing. <br /> <br />Commissioner Young reported complaints asking if there was an ordinance concerning mobile <br />homes and fifth wheels, etc. parking on streets in a subdivision. Building Inspector Joe Beikman <br />said there was to be no parking over 1 Yo ton capacity in a platted subdivision. Question was <br />asked, "How do you enforce?" Homeowner's Association do have covenants and could enforce <br />them. Town attorney Tim Currens infonned the commission that nothing currently addresses <br />this from Town level. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Appointments to Board of Zoning Appeals was discussed. The Plan Commission sends two <br />members. They appointed Mike Young, but the Town Council has to appoint the other member. <br />As of yet, the Town Council has not made this appointment. <br /> <br />Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported twenty-three (23) penn its and eighty-eight (88) <br />inspections. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Plan Commission at this time, <br />motion was made by Commissioner Young to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission will be March 23, 2000, 7:00 P.
