Commissioner McGuire made a motion, second by Commissioner Pygman to deny request on grounds this property was illegally subdivided before the petition came in to the Plan Commission. Vote was 2-3 with I abstention and could not carry. For lack of another motion this item was tabled to Apri122, 1999 meeting. Motion was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to recommend to the Town Council to rezone WeIiever, one acre, on Highway 67 from Agric. to 1-1. Motion carried 6-0. Motion was made by Commissioner Ehrhart, second by Commissioner Young to approve the We1eiver- 1 lot Minor Plat. Motion carried 6-0. Town Attorney Tim Currens handed out to the Commissioners rules on conducting Public Hearings (sample ofPlaintield's rules). The Commission discussed time limits and procedures. The agenda is attached to the rules and handed out at the door. Rules are also posted in various places. Town Attorney Tim Currens told the Commission he had sent another letter to 545 North Indiana Street. Inspector Joe Beikman reported he hadn't seen any business taking place at that address. Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported 5 I (fifty-one) permits issued and I 15 (one hundred fifteen) inspections. There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, motion was made by Commissioner Young to adjourn the meeting.
