Lot 1 falls in the TO\~m of Mooresville's Buffer Zone and has an existing <br />house. They haw a so:ptic pennit and rural water. The Commission called attention to the <br />improvements on Lot #2 of a basement and a foundation. The building pennit was from the <br />County and had been revoked because this is in the Town of Mooresville jurisdiction. The <br />roadway is to be maintained on a share and share alike basis. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Kimmel, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to approve the 2 Lot Minor Plat. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway then represented Knerim, Nicholson, Cheeseman's request to rezone 203 North <br />Indiana Street from R -1 to B-1. They are selling the property and Commerciallendo:rs will not <br />lend unless zoned properly. At the present time, this property has a variance to the R-l zoning <br />which has allowed them to have a Dentist Office on the property. A neighbor, Mr. Duncan told <br />the Commission he wanted to suggest to keep the property at a variance to R-l. After some <br />discussion a motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, second by Commissioner Young to <br />recommend to the Town Council to approve zoning change from R-l to B-1 (light business). <br />Motion carried 5-0. This will come before the Town Council at the December 9, 1997 meeting. <br /> <br />President Joel Beebe opened a letter of complaint to the Plan Commission concerning a home <br />based business at 40 West Washington Street. This is a Lawncare Business. The complaint was <br />the alley was being blocked with equipment or trailers. The Plan Commission asked Inspector Joe <br />Beikman to investigate. <br /> <br />Inspector Joe Beikman reported thirty-five (35) pennits and eighty-nine (89) inspections. <br /> <br />Due to the December Holidays, the next meeting of the Plan Commission will be Wednesday, <br />December 17, 1997 at approximately 7 :30 P. M. follov,ing the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, a motion was made <br />by Commissioner Kimmel, second by Commissioner Abbott to adjourn.
