<br />~ <br />, <br /> <br />'--- <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN <br />MINUTES <br />October 24, 1996 <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN <br /> <br />COMMISSION <br /> <br />Thursday, 7:30 P.M. <br />HALL <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on <br />Thursday, October 24, 1996 at 7:30 P. M. at the Mooresville <br />Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commission members present were Joel Beebe, Bill Abbott, Vern <br />Kimmel, Charles McGuire, Tim Cummins, Mike Young, and Tim Bennett. <br />John Ehrhart and Arthur Raney were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, second by Commissioner <br />Bennett to approve the minutes of the September 26, 1996 meeting; <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway of, Holloway & Assoc. presented Morningstar PUD for <br />final plat approval. The Town Council passed the zoning on the <br />PUD on Monday, October 21, 1996. The Town will be taking over <br />the lift station and working out an alarm system. There will be <br />no neighborhood Association. Retention area will be maintained <br />by owners of Lot # 5 and Lot # 6. The streets will be dedicated. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, second by Commissioner <br />Kimmel to approve the final plat approval of Morningstar PUD <br />contingent upon Bonding and payment of the Availability Fees. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />The owner of the property at 218 East South Street expressed her <br />wish to the Plan Commission of demolishing her home and building <br />at a later date. She asked if she could put a modular home on the <br />property and the Plan Commission stated they could not discriminate <br />type of housing as long as the housing followed code. <br /> <br />The mini barn at 54 Crosby road has been moved. <br /> <br />The home at 39 ~ West Main --the grass has been mowed and the house <br />has been secured. <br /> <br />The possible zoning violation at 126 Merriman Road has <br />out several times by Joe Beikman, Building Inspector. <br />has been observed at this time. <br /> <br />been checked <br />No violation <br /> <br />Town Attorney Tim Currens stated we were still waiting for Ross <br />Holloway to finish the computations on the Buffer Zone. <br /> <br />....- <br /> <br />Jim Taylor from the Grace Missionary Church appeared before the <br />Commission asking if they need to have a building permit or some <br />kind of permission to install the Ark from Mount Pleasant Christian <br />
