/t

MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION
MINUTES
APRIL 25, 1996 THURSDAY, 7:30 P. M.
MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL

The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session
on Thursday, April 25, 1996 at 7:30 P. M. at the Mooresville
Town Hall.

Commission members present were Joel Beebe, Bill
Abbott, Charles McGuire, Mike Young, John Ehrhart, Art Raney,
and Tim Bennett. Tim Cummins and Vern KImmel were absent.

Motion was made by Bill Abbott, second by Charles
MeGuire to approve the minutes of the March 28, 1996
meeting. Motion carried unanimously.

Ross Holloway presented Hosten Bible's Morningstar
Court Estates PUD Subdivision for approval. Since this was
never filed and the detailed plan never followed up, our
Ordinance has changed. The rezoning of this SubDivision
needs to be done first.

'-

Motion was made by Charles McGuire, second by Tim Bennett
to recommend to the Mooresville Town Council to rezone
Bible's Morningstar Court Estates from a single family to a
PUD R.lt meets Plan Commission requirements 7 (detailed
items) with Plan Commission changes. Motion carried
unanimously.

Next Ross Holloway presented Hopkin's land on Landersdale
Rd., for a rezone from agriculture to RID. There was much
discussion including comments from adjoining landowners.
Charles McGuire stated RID would be an injustice to Knights-
bridge. Bill Abbott's suggestion was to protect adjacent
areas, only a Residential PUD in that area be considered.
Holloway requested that this rezone be tabled. More dis-
cussion ensued concerning such things as Bridge Street
going out to Landersdale Rd. The North end residents need
another access for fire protection and emergencies. There
is a Hadley Road access but it is a year away. Ross
Holloway withdrew the rezone. He will check with his client
to see if he wants to change to a PUD.

\0.,,-"

Ross Holloway presented the Linder Minor Plat for
approval. The property is located on Rooker Road and Dayhuff
Road. There will be two new lots of one acre each and a
utility easement along Dayhuff. Mr.~ Linder wants to build
a 1500 square foot home for each son. Several neighboring
landowners spoke to the Commission in opposition to the
Plat approval. An existing building is not on the setback
