<br />Commission Chairman Beebe advised the petitioners that <br />they could present their petition at the October Plan <br />Commission meeting and possibly all members will be present <br />and a decision could be made at that time. <br /> <br />Mr. Ross Holloway appeared before the Plan Commission on <br />behalf of Darrell Swinney the developer of Collett Acres <br />requesting final plat approval for Collett Acres, Section I. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Charles McGuire, second by Vern <br />Kimmel to approve the final plat of Collett Acres, <br />Section I as presented. Motion carried 8 - O. <br /> <br />Mr. Ross Holloway appeared before the Plan Commission on <br />behalf of Arvin Hopkins, Roger Caperton and Don Stafford, <br />petitioning for preliminary plat approval for 50 lots known <br />as Karrington Estates, Section I. This parcel is located on <br />Hadley Road being part of the W/2 of the NE/4 of Section 32, <br />T14N R2E containing 27.00 acres, more or less. <br /> <br />Members of the Plan Commission discussed the possibility <br />of having frontage roads installed in subdivisions so that <br />existing home owners do not face the back of houses in new <br />subdivisions. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Motion was made by John Ehrhart, second by Vern Kimmel <br />to approve the Karrington Estate Subdivision Plat, Section I <br />contingènt upon the construction prints specifying that the <br />lots which are along Hadley Road be mounded to obstruct <br />the view or the subdivision from Hadley Road; also, <br />construction prints must be submitted, an agreement for sewer <br />availability must be obtained from the Town of Mooresville, <br />covenants must specify that no structures beyond the 30 foot <br />rear yard line will be allowed and a variance must be ob- <br />tained for lots which do not meet the width to depth ratio. <br />Motion passed 7 - O. Commission member Art Raney abstained. <br /> <br />Chairman Joel Beebe appointed Bill Abbott, Charles <br />McGuire, Mike Young and John Ehrhart to serve on a committee <br />to update the Comprehensive Plan and the Zoning Ordinance. <br />Charles McGuire was appointed chairman of this committee. <br />This committee will welcome input from all Plan Commission <br />members and members of the public in regard to updating the <br />Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />The Plan Commission discussed ideas each of them have in <br />regard to the Town zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported he has issued <br />. <br />twenty-three (23) permits and made eighty-eight (88) <br />inspections. <br /> <br />-' <br /> <br />2 <br />
