<br />~üORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, JANUARY 26, 1995 - 7:30 P.M. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission <br />was held Thursday, January 26, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Plan Commission members present were Bill Abbott, Vern <br />Kimmel, Art Raney, Charles McGuire, Joel Beebe, Mike Young, <br />John Ehrhart, Tim Bennett and Tim Cummins. No members were <br />absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Charles McGuire, second by John <br />Ehrhart to approve the minutes of the December meeting as <br />sl,bmitted. Motion carried 9 - O. <br /> <br />This being the first meeting of 1995, the Mooresville <br />Plan Commission eLected the following officers for 1995. <br /> <br />Art Raney nominated Joel Beebe for Plan Commission <br />President, Bill Abbott second the nomination. Charles <br />McGujre moved nominations be closed. <br /> <br />"_ Charles McGuire nominated John Ehrhart for Plan <br />(:c)mmission Vice-Pr'esident, Art Raney second the nomination. <br />iVI i ke Yuung moved nominations be closed. <br /> <br />Charles McGuire nominated Vern Kimmel for Plan <br />CommissioI\ Secretary, Bill Abbott second the nomination. <br />Rill Abbott moved nominations be closed. <br /> <br />All officers were elected by acclamation. <br /> <br />Mr. Ross Holloway appeared before the Plan Commission <br />r"<ll1Csting a two (2) lot minor plat for Mr. & Mrs. Mike King. <br />The property is located 1500 feet north of Keller Hill Road <br />on Rlrlgllam Road. Lot 1 consists of 8.7] acres, lot 2 <br />c·(Jnsj.sts of 1.361 ac"res. <br /> <br />Mr. Mike McGuire, property owner to the south of the <br />pr'opospc} minor' plat, appeared before the Commission opposing <br />the King minor plat due to concern of the possibility the <br />septic system could leak into the creek due to the slope of <br />the propert;y. <br /> <br />Mr-. Mike King stated the house would be 200 feet from <br />the road and he had no problem receiving a septic permit and <br />driveway permit for this site from Morgan County. <br /> <br />-- <br />
