Phil Smith appeared before the Mooresville Plan <br />Commission requesting the Commission modify the original Lin- <br />El PUD to allow the building located in the PUD to be <br />occupied prior to completion of the proposed road located in <br />the PUD. <br /> <br />Street Superintendent Joe Beikman requested that Lin-El <br />increase their performance bond to cover the cost of the road <br />if the Commission allows occupancy of the building before the <br />completion of the road. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Darrell Brown informed the Plan Commission <br />that if the road at Lin-El is not completed prior to <br />Environmental Coatings occupying their building the access <br />to Environmental Coatings building is questionable. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott, second by Mike Young to <br />grant the request of Lin-El to occupy the Environmental <br />Coatings building prior to the completion of the road con- <br />tingent upon Lin-El's state grant be extended to December 31, <br />]99~ and they increase the amount of their bond to <br />satisfactorly cover the cost of the needed infrastructure. <br />Motion carried 6 yes, 0 no and 2 abstaining. The abstaining <br />commission members were Tim Cummins and Tim Bennett. <br /> <br />__ Mr. Ross Holloway appeared before the Plan Commission <br />representing Alan Hill petitioning for a four (~) lot minor <br />plat for part of the W/2 of the SW/4 of Section 2 T13N RIE <br />containing 12.191 acres, more or less. These lots would be <br />accessed from State Road 42. <br /> <br />The Commission advised the petitioner that the State <br />Highway Department will have to issue a road cut on State <br />Road 42 for the access road. <br /> <br />The Commission also advised the petitioners that they <br />will have to file for a variance to meet width to depth <br />f"at.io. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Charles McGuire, second by Tim <br />Bennett to approve the four (4) lot minor plat for Alan Hill <br />for part of the W/2 of the SW/4 of Section 2 T13N RIE con- <br />taining 12.191 acres, more or less, contingent upon the owner <br />receiving a road cut certificate from the State Highway <br />Department, a variance being filed for the width to depth <br />ratio, and Brown Township Fire Department approval of the <br />access to the four lots.
