<br />~ <br /> <br />Motion was made subject to Davis Homes bringing something in writing <br />from the county to improve Johnson Road and for the length to depth ratio to be <br />conducive with the requirements of a PUD by Bill Abbott. A second was made by <br />Art Raney. Motion passed 8-0. <br /> <br />The Plan Commission went over the specification for a PUD-R wning <br />classification to see that the plans met approval. <br /> <br />Motion was made for a favorable recommendation to the Town Council <br />for a PUD-R wning for Davis Homes by Charles McGuire. A second was made <br />by Art Raney. Motion passed 8-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Roger Caperton and Mr. Don Stafford of Caperton Development <br />appeared before the Mooresville Planning Commission with a consultation for a <br />minor plat for Town Center n. Mr. Stafford explained to those present that it would <br />be for a total of 26 acres broken down into a three (3) lot minor plat. <br /> <br />'--- <br /> <br />Several residents from the Roberson Woods and tbe Roberson Village area <br />appeared before the Commission remonstrating against this petition. The residents <br />explained that they felt Caperton Development did not need to start other projects <br />when roads and entrances in their subdivision were not finished yet. <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />The Plan Commission went over the minor plat check list to see that the <br />plat would meet specifications for approval. <br /> <br />Caperton Development did not have all of their notices; therefore, they will <br />be returning for final approval on tbe minor plat request for Town Center II at a <br />later date. <br /> <br />Mr. John Larrison of Holloway and Associates appeared before the Moores- <br />ville Planning Commission representing Mr. Eugene Perry and Mr. Bryant <br />Hopwood with a request to rewne property at Harlan Drive and Bridge Street <br />from R-I to 1-2. Mr. Larrison explained that it would be for parts of lot II and 12, <br />and also for lot 13. Mr. Hopwood informed the Commission that they wanted to <br />have storage units at this location and that tbe present buildings would be coming <br />down. He also informed the Commission that these storage units would be fenced <br />to eliminate vandalism. <br /> <br />Motion was made to make a favorable recommendation to the Town Council <br />to rewne property at Harlan Drive and Bridge Street from R-l to 1-2 by Bill Abbott. <br />A second was made by Steve Edwards. Motion passed 8-0. <br /> <br />""--- <br /> <br />The Mooresville Planning Commission went over the Findings of Fact for <br />Environmental Development Corporation from the February Plan Commission <br />meeting.
