A second <br /> <br /> <br />was made by Bill Abbott. Motion passed 6 - O. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Ross Holloway, Engineer, appeared before the Mooresville <br /> <br /> <br />Plan Commission representing Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Haught with a <br /> <br /> <br />request for a one (1) lot minor plat at State Road 144 and <br /> <br /> <br />Pennington Road. <br /> <br /> <br />The Commission went over the Minor Plat check list to see <br /> <br /> <br />that the request for the Minor Plat met specifications for approval. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott to grant the request for <br /> <br /> <br />a one (1) lot Minor Plat subject to the driveway and septic permit. <br /> <br /> <br />A second was made by Tim Bennett. Motion passed 6 - O. <br /> <br /> <br />Several Mooresville citizens appeared before the Commission <br /> <br /> <br />wanting to know what further action would be taken at 39 West Main <br /> <br /> <br />Street since the people at this location had been evicted. <br /> <br /> <br />Attorney Currens explained that the Building Inspector <br /> <br /> <br />would be inspecting the building to determine if the building <br /> <br /> <br />was unsafe, and the owner would need to fix these problems to <br /> <br /> <br />be in compliance with the town's ordinance. Mr. Currens also <br /> <br /> <br />explained that the town would need to cooperate with the prosecutor's <br /> <br /> <br />office on this matter. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion was made by Signe Nicholson to cooperate with the <br /> <br /> <br />prosecutor's office and pursue the unsafe building ordinance at <br /> <br /> <br />39 West Main Street. A second was made by Steve Edwards. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion passed 6 - O. <br /> <br />2 <br />
