<br />MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 1993 - 7:30 p.m. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />'--' <br /> <br />The Mooresville Planning Commission met for their regular <br />scheduled meeting on Thursday, February 25, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. <br />at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br />Commission members present were Robert Tucker, Bill Abbott, <br />Steve Edwards, Art Raney, Charles McGuire and Joel Beebe. Also <br />present was the Commission's attorney, Tim Currens. Commission <br /> <br /> <br />members absent were Vern Kimmel, Tim Bennett and Signe Nicholson. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion was made by Art Raney to approve thè minutes of the <br /> <br /> <br />January Plan Commission meeting. A second was made by Steve <br /> <br /> <br />Edwards. Motion passed 6 - O. <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Collis Naylor came before the Mooresville Planning <br /> <br /> <br />Commission to request a rezone at 342 Kitchen Road from <br /> <br /> <br />Residential to Business. <br /> <br /> <br />The Naylor's were advised by the Commission that their request <br /> <br /> <br />was not in the Buffer Zone; therefore, they were advised that <br />they needed to go before the Morgan County PlandCommission. <br />Mr. Monty Russell, Russell Enterprises, came before the <br /> <br /> <br />Mooresville Planning Commission to request a plat amendment at <br /> <br /> <br />1606 E. State Road 144. Mr. Russell explained that they needed <br /> <br /> <br />to change the location of the road access. <br /> <br /> <br />Ms. Phillis Cottingim, 1612 State Road 144, expressed her <br /> <br /> <br />concerns about the traffic hazard that might be caused by this <br /> <br /> <br />development. <br />
