<br />I <br /> <br />The Commission went over the Minor Plat check list to see <br />if the plat met specifications for approval. <br />Ms. Breedlove also asked how close to her property line the <br />builders would be able to build. <br />Building Inspector Joe Beikman explained that they could <br />build 40 feet from the rear yard. <br />Motion was made by Steve Edwards to approve the Minor Plat. <br />A second was made by Bill Abbott. Motion passed 6 - O. <br />Mr. Ralph Foley Attorney, and Mr. Ross Holloway, Engineer, <br /> <br />came before the Mooresville Plan Commission to represent Environ- <br /> <br />mental Development Corporation with a request for a subdivision <br />plat for sections 4 and 5, Rooker Trace. <br /> <br />Mr. Foley passed out plans for the Commission's review. <br /> <br />Ms. Rea Robinson, 23 Wilson Drive, explained that water was <br /> <br />standing on this property and where would it go. <br />Mr. Holloway explained that there was no out-fall pipe at <br />this time to take care of the standing water. Mr. Holloway <br />explained that the detention basins that are 4 feet deep will go <br />into a 24" pipe under the bridge and into the creek. <br />The Commission went over the subidivision plat check list to <br />see that the plat met specifications for approval. <br />The Commission decided to continue Environmental Development's <br />request for a subdivision plat until the December 17, 1992 meeting. <br />Plan Commission attorney, Tim Currens, advised the Commission <br />that Ambassador Steel was zoned 1-2 by the county prior to our <br />Buffer Zone extension and they were seeking a determination as to <br /> <br />'--' <br /> <br />2 <br />
