<br />This district is designE.d to be located in all areas which arc defined as being
<br />within the flood plain and i4entified in the Town Ordinance No. 18-1979, and all
<br />an~ndments ~1ereto, as flood~plain.~ In general, it should consist of those areas
<br />adjoining streams or other ~tural drainage channels or areas which are lowlying,
<br />di[[icultto drain, and subjèCt to flood. Any ground listed as a flood plain area
<br />in the federal flood plain rœps, as' defined in Ordinance 18-1979, and all amendments
<br />thereto, whieh is filled torå! level above the one hundred year flood elevation shall
<br />no Longer be considered in ~e flood plain district, and owner of the property shall
<br />h,wl' the option of requestll19 the Plan Ccmnission to rezone said property with proper
<br />null ce and at a public hearing, by filing for a petition [or rezoning.
