Present were members

William Abbott, Steve Edwards, Vern Kimmel, Dave Minardo arld Charles McGuire.

Absent were members Joel Beebe, Shirley Welker and Signe Nicholson. Also

present was the Commission's attorney, Timothy Ce Currens.

The meeting was called to order with william Abbott presiding in the

absence of Joel Beebe. Minutes of the April 25th meeting in rough draft

form wer reviewed and corrections noted for final draft. Steve Edwards

made a motion to approve the minutes with a second by Vern Kimmel. Motion

carried unanimously.

Mark Peden came before the Commission representing Swinney Bvothers

on their proposed plat. Bill Abbott asked if application had been made for

preliminary plat approval and Tim Currens answered yes. Tim also asked that

it be recorded that he currently represents the Swinney's so Mark Peden was

representing at this meeting.

Dary~lSwinney spoke before the Commission and said he wanted the feeling

of the town before proceeding further. They plan to hook on to the town

sewers and be serviced by Hill Water. He also said the lot sizes would be

above the minimun with the front lot for water retention. Daryl has all of

the easements except the one from George Fox which is verbal and has not

been recorded.

Bill Abbott felt we needed to get an opinion from the Sewer Department

as to capacity and whether we can handle treatment for that area. Steve

Edwards will have them look into this and relay answers to Daryl Swinney.

SteverBallard questioned from the floor the proposed pipeline and

pressure and Daryl Swinney replied it would be S". Steve Ballard responded

that thjs would be below the minimum requirement and there is some concern

from the fire department.

Joe Seikman asked about the curbs and sidewalks and Daryl Swinney said

these are in the plans.

After further discussion, this was left Ðor future review.

NEW BUSINESS

Joe Beikman reported on the property on Allison Road.
