·

would appreciate all hydrants being within ten feet.

Dale Koons

advised that Hoosier Water Company had contracted them to put in

the hydrants pursuant to their specifications but would stay in

touch with them in the future on all such improvements. Vern

Kimmell seconded the motion which passed with eight (8) in favor

and zero (0) opposed.

Item two of Cloverleaf's request was the preliminary plat

of lot 36 which was being changed from elderly housing to doubles.

The notices were checked and the board attorney advised that they

still needed the newspaper publication.

He also noted that three

receipts were not returned, Newcomer, Rev. Wright and the church.

Mr. Koons then proceeded to show the replat.

It showed a drive

with a culdesac and 28 units of duplexes.

Mr. Bruzas' stated

that the reason for the change from elderly housing was the lack

of available financing and ability to make the numbers work

financially for the project.

Steve Edwards questioned how many

square feet per double and the response was they did not know yet

but expected them to be two bedroom doubles.

Signe Nicholson

asked if there were any questions from the floor.

There were none

so the board proceeded to a review of the ordinance requirements.

Joel Beebe questioned Darrel Brown concerning the hydrants for

fire protection.

Darrel stated that the one at the entry way was

probably sufficient to serve all of them since it was within 500

feet.

The board also reviewed the covenants and declarations

along with the homeowners association.

Signe Nicholson then

questioned the change in the land use from elderly housing to

duplexes and the board thought that the use was similar and appropriate.

,~

-2-
