MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> M1NUTES <br />WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 1998, 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met in regular session on Wednesday, September 16, <br />1998, at 7:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Board members present were: Alan Kramer, Brent PlunkeR, Don Bamy, and Veto Kimmel. <br />Town Attorney Tim Currens was present. Mike Young was absent. <br /> <br />First on the agenda was Susan Ncely requesting a sign variance at her office located at 3081 St. <br />Rd. 144. Ms. Neely stated for safety reasons she felt a variance was necessary. The Finding of <br />Facts were read. Motion was made by Vem Kimmel, second by Brent Plunker to approve the <br />sign variance for Susan Neely. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />Next, Mike Hankins requested a variance for a new house with an existing home at 524 Keys Rd. <br />There were no questions from the board or the audience. Motion was made by Don Bany, <br />second by Brent Plunkett to approve the variance with the Hankins's bringing in their proof of <br />Publishing and mailing. Motion carded 4-0. <br /> <br />Holloway & Assoc. requested a Special Exception for variance of use for Big O Tiros on Lot 4- <br />D, Southbridge Crossing. There were no questions. Motion was made by Brent Plunkett, <br />second by Don Barry to approve the Special Exception. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />Mary Neely and Sandra Crousore requested a variance for Business at 60 West Main Street. <br />Toby Dolen is the owner of the property. Don Barry asked about parking--which would be on <br />the Street. There were no questions fi.om the audience. Motion was made by Don Barry, second <br />by Brent Plunkett to approve the variance for business in a residence. Motion carded 4-0. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Don Bany, second by Brent Plunkett to approve the minutes of the August <br />19, 1998 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Board of Zoning Appeals at this time, <br />motion was made by Brent Plunkett, second by Don Bany to adjourn. Motion camed 4-0. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals will be October 21, 1998, at 7:00 <br />P.
