<br />· , <br /> <br />.~ <br />t <br /> <br />buildings. <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Tucker opened up the meeting to <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />remonstrators; there being none present, the Board proceeded with <br /> <br />a discussion of the rezoning. <br /> <br />After the Board's discussion, <br /> <br />William Abbott moved to recommend to the Town Council the rezoning <br /> <br />from A-1, Agricultural to GB, General Business. <br /> <br />This was seconded <br /> <br />by Steve Edwards and carried by unanimous vote of 6 in favor and 0 <br /> <br />opposed. <br /> <br />The next item to come before the Board were three letters <br /> <br />from people in the vicinity of South Street complaining about the <br /> <br />use of the property at 109 E. South Street. <br /> <br />In particular, they <br /> <br />complained of trash and junk cars, noise, junk cars being parked <br /> <br />in front of the residence, deteriorating condition of the property <br /> <br />and improper zoning uses. <br /> <br />Bill Abbott moved that the Building <br /> <br />Inspector look into the alleged violation and report back at the <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />This was seconded by Vern Kimmel and passed by vote <br /> <br />of 6 in favor and 0 opposed. <br /> <br />The Building Inspector then gave his <br /> <br />report of 9 permits and 8 inspections. <br /> <br />He also stated that there <br /> <br />was a need for application to be drafted to correspond with the <br /> <br />new ordinance. <br /> <br />Attorney Currens advised that if Mr. Beikman would <br /> <br />make a list of what he wanted in the respective applications he <br /> <br />would draft the applications. <br /> <br />Attorney Currens also advised that <br /> <br />there is a need for a secretary for the Plan Commission to do the <br /> <br />minutes and also for the Board of zoning Appeals. <br /> <br />He and Building <br /> <br />Inspector Beikman also stated that there is a need for storage <br /> <br />areas for the filings and other Plan Commission documents. The <br /> <br />Plan Commission requested that this matter be raised with the Town <br /> <br />-2- <br />
