'--

'--

'--

r

did not feel comfortable presenting them. The Board decided to
wait and review the minutes at their next meeting since they had
not had an opportunity to review the same. The Board was polled
on this issue and all agreed.
The next item to come before the Board was the meeting on the
comprehensive plan and proposed zoning ordinance. The Board's

Attorney advised that some notice requirements to residents of

Hendricks County were now required under the law and for this

reason he felt the meeting should be continued until June. The

Board agreed and proceeded to a discussion of the presentation of

the plan. The Board agreed that it would be nice to hold the

meeting in the school auditorium where an overhead projector and

screen would be available. He

requested comments before or at the next meeting.

Thomas Shake of 51 East High Street then addressed the Board

concerning a problem he had with neighbors that were operating a

business under a variance. In particular he advised that he had

problems with the hours of the business which was operating on

Sundays and past 9:00 p.m., in violation of the variance. Bob

Tucker advised that this variance was granted with specific hours

of operation being stated. Tim Currens reviewed the findings of

fact from the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting of January 20, 1988

which specifically stated that the business would not operate on

-3-
