~

mately 9:00 to 9:00 and that they would have three tanning beds upstairs

which would be used by appointment only.

The board then proceeded to a discussion of the rezoning. Signe Nicholson

stated that the adjacent use was local business and thought that this similar

use would not have any negative impact in the area and would be consistent

with the Master Land Use Plan. Rest of the board members agreed and a

motion was made by Steve Edwards to recommend to the town board of trustees

that the rezoning request from A-Residential to LB-Local Business be granted.

Signe Nicholson seconded and the motion unanimously carried.

The next item on the agenda was the Unsafe Violation on the Jerry Graybill

property located at 125 East High Street. Building Inspector Beikman advised

that the violations had been cured. The motion was made to release the

$3,500.00 bond of Mr. Graybill and to terminate the Unsafe Building Ordinance

proceeding. Bill Abbott made this motion, Steve Edwards seconded and it

unanimously carried. Inspector Beikman also advised that the Kinnett property

on Harrison Street no longer was an unsafe structure and the hearing set for

this meeting should be cancelled and no further action should be taken.

Building Inspector Beikman also advised that the business sign "Two Brothers

Remodeling" at Main and Clay Street had been removed. He also informed the

board, no violation had been found on the Mead property on Harrison Street,

however, he would also like to get inside to make sure that it was not leaking

since it was not currently occupied.

Signe Nicholson reported on the Master Land Use Plan and handed out

four drafts. She described the document and the three primary sections

consisting of existing conditions, goals, and the comprehensive plan. Some

additional information was needed and assignments for this information were

made along with arrangements for board members to review the drafts and send

proposed changes to Signe.

-2-
