·

\

members and after a lengthy discussion with roads and other
monuments being identified on the map, it was determined by the
Board that this matter should be tabled with each member to come
prepared at the next meeting to present their proposed boundary
lines on the map.
The next item to come before the Board was the alleged zoning
violation on the Dr. Alarcon Monroe Street property. A request
for a variance on this property had been turned down and the
Board's attorney advised that a follow-up was in order. The
building inspector advised that the renters were still in the
property and the Board's attorney advised that he had received a
letter to this effect from Dr. Alarcon dated February 18, 1988.
The Board instructed the attorney to send a letter requesting
compliance or appearance at the next meeting.

The next item on the agenda was the alleged unsafe building

violations at 18 West Harrison Street on the property owned by

Martha Wisner. The building inspector advised that he had felt

that there were some violations occurring on this property for

some time but had held off at the request of the Board's attorney

due to the Towns interest in purchasing this property. The

Board's attorney advised that he did not want it to appear that

the Board was trying to coerce someone into selling their

property, however, that if the building inspector thought this was

a safety hazard that he certainly should do his job. The Board

then instructed Building Inspector Beikman to check out the

property and report back at the next meeting.

~

-2-
