<br />'"-' <br /> <br />Master Land Use Plan. This was seconded again by Joel Beebe and <br />passed by a vote of eight in favor and one abstention. <br />The next item to come before the Board was the Special <br />Exception request of George E. and Janet Carlisle. George <br />Carlisle and his son Sam were present, along with Attorney Dave <br />Lawson. Plans for the expansion of the current nonconforming use <br />were shown, along with the new parking plans. The Board discussed <br />the proposed Special Exception and viewed the drawings. A motion <br />was made by Steve Edwards to recommend to the Board of Zoning <br /> <br />Appeals that the proposed use does not have an adverse effect on <br /> <br />the Master Land Use Plan. This was seconded by Warren Franklin <br />and passed by a vote of nine in favor and zero against. <br />The next item on the Agenda was the rezoning filed by the <br />Estate of Veldia McCoy from A-Residential to GB-Genera1 Business. <br />The petitioners were not present and the remonstrators were <br />advised that new notices would have to be sent out if this matter <br />comes up at another meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />The Board then proceeded to the alleged Unsafe Building <br /> <br /> <br />Violation at 2 West Main Street. Building Inspector Beikman <br /> <br /> <br />advised that all the work had been done with the exception of the <br /> <br /> <br />rewiring and drywall. The Board tabled this matter with Building <br /> <br /> <br />Inspector Beikman having the authority previously given to him to <br /> <br /> <br />take whatever steps he deemed necessary to bring about compliance. <br /> <br /> <br />Building Inspector Beikman also advised that he had spoken with <br /> <br /> <br />the owner of the property at 260 West Harrison as to the unsafe <br /> <br /> <br />building ordinance. He advised that the owner had just <br /> <br />---- <br /> <br />-2- <br />
