-2-

The next question to come before the Board concerned the sign on the

Marathon Station on South Indiana which was across the walk. The Board

requested the Building Inspector to look at this and also the flea markets and

yard sales which were occurring on a continuing basis. The sign and set back

for the sign at the Sycamore Trace Apartments at Carlisle and 267 was also mentioned

as a traffic problem. The Building Inspector was requested to look at this regard-

ing set backs.

Vernon Kimmell then brought up a new mobile home which had been placed

behind the old Carl's Custom Campers. He asked if any permit had been filed

for or any variance and requested the Building Inspector to look into this and

red tag it if there is a violation. Bill Abbott made a motion and this was

seconded by Vern Kimmell to have the Building Inspector proceed, the vote was

unanimous.

---

The next item to come before the Board was complaint by Charles Nelson

regarding the property near him in the buffer zone which the Board had dealt

with a couple of years ago. In particular there were vehicles, junk and old

trucks and buses stored on the property. The Board agreed to look into this

matter and try to obtain an address and contact the propertv owner.

The next item to come before the Board concerned the Graybill property and

status of that structure. Building Inspector Beikman was again requested to

look at this property and bring it before the next meeting.

The Board's Attorney requested all the members to start looking at the

zoning ordinance to see if they have any suggestions towards change that we

might review. In particular the treatment of mobile homes, height of fences,

gravel and mining operations, and other miscellaneous provisions. The Board

agreed to start gathering this information for a review at one of the upcoming

meetings.

----
