<br />Wendell Thaler moved to have the Board Attorney file suit immediately. <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Steve Edwards and unanimously carried. The Board <br /> <br />moved on to the Hatmaker lawsuit and Attorney Ksenak informed the Board that <br /> <br />the lawsuit was pending before the court. <br /> <br />Moving on to the Northridge subdivision problem, Attorney Ksenak informed <br /> <br />the Board that Mitchell Denny was waiting for Arvin Hopkins to put in a catch <br /> <br />basin and that this matter should be tabled for 30 days. The Board concurred. <br /> <br />Attorney Ksenak then advised the Board that there were regulations <br /> <br />under state law concerning abandoned vehicles and described briefly the remedy <br /> <br />which the town has for correcting such problems. Steve Edwards asked the <br /> <br />attorney to make copies of the statute for the Town Board to look over. <br /> <br />Attorney Ksenak also advised that there was a request at the last meeting <br /> <br />for some opinion as to the Planning Commission's authority to deal with unsafe <br /> <br />buildings. He indicated that in dealing with what the Board considers fire <br /> <br />-... <br /> <br />hazards, the Board can utilize the unsafe building ordinance or the trash <br /> <br />ordinance if the fire hazard is related to the presence of trash. Otherwise, <br /> <br />the matter should be turned over to Fire Chief Bruner to deal with under his <br /> <br />authority. <br /> <br />Inspector Beikman indicated that 8 permits and 2 red tags were issued <br /> <br />and that 19 inspections were performed. <br /> <br />No further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned <br /> <br />by motion duly made by Steve Edwards, seconded by Wendell Thaler, and unanimously <br /> <br />approved. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />-~ <br /> <br />0> <br /> <br />Dave Barry, Chairman <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />
