In particular I would advise you that it is the Plan <br />Commision's position that the property at 135 W. High Street is a "non- <br />conforming use" under our ordinance and . the plumbing business which you are <br />operating there could continue to operate even after a transfer of ownership <br />so long as the same type of use is continued or a less restrictive use. A <br />''non-conforming use" cannot be increased to a more restrictive type of use such <br />as an industrial use. and in addition if the "non-conforming use" ceases to exist <br />for a year then the zoning classification will go back to that shown on the <br />.
