<br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on <br /> <br />. <br />October 28, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. Members present were: Robert <br />Farmer, Steve Edwards, Rebecca Hardin and Eweather Stephens. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved <br />as read. <br />DDe-)(e-r-. <br />p.T"Ii~r..'1- 8' '76 was presented in behalf of petitioners <br />Paul W. "Pete" Swisher and Louise Swisher by Chairman of the <br />Commission, Robert Farmer, who explained that petitioners were <br />seeking rezoning of property located at 266 N. Monroe St. from <br />Residential A to Local Business. The purpose of the rezoning <br />would be to allow the relocation of the Sportsmans Shop from the <br />Village Shopping Center to property at 266 N. Monroe St. An existing <br />garage (2 Carl would be renovated to house the Sportsman Shop. <br />Mr. Swisher Explained that the owners of the I.G.A. Foodllner <br />have agreed that any ingress and egress of traffic can be <br />from the parking lot of I.G.A. thus eliminating any problems <br />of entry from St. Rd. 267. <br />A motion was made by Rebecca Hardin that the rezoning be <br />granted as asked for in the petition. <br />Steve Edwards sec onded the motion and the vote in favor <br /> <br />was unanimous. <br /> <br />Bob Farmer read all building permits which had been granted <br />during Sept. and Oct. <br />There being no further business, upon a motion by Steve <br />Edwards, seconded by Eweather Stephens, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Secretary <br /> <br />y~~ <br />Pres ent <br /> <br />~ <br />
