<br />~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />March 17, 1975 <br /> <br />'- The Mooresvllle Plan Commission met in regular session on <br />March 17, 1975, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: <br />Steve Edwards, Robert Farmer, William Roberson, Lewis Truax, <br />Eweather Stephens and David Lawson, Attorney for the Commission. <br />MInutes of the January meeting were read and approved. <br />Mr. Richard V. Newcomer appeared before the Plan Commission for <br />the purpose of filing plans to re-plat lot 29 In Morgans addition. <br />A letter of request was read and a certificate of Intent along with <br />the plat or legal survey made by professional land surveyor, <br />Delbert Hobson were presented to the Plan Commission for their <br />approval or disapproval. Mr. Newcomer explained that lot 29 will <br />be subdivided Into four (4) lots with a private drive to be cut <br />through to serve the two (2) back lots. Said drive to be maintained <br /> <br />'--' <br /> <br />by the owners. After a period of discussion a motion was made by Mr. <br />Lewis Truax that the Plat as presented by Mr. Newcomer be accepted as <br />a Final Plat and requirements of sidewalks and standards of Public <br />roads be waived. The motion was seconded by Robert Farmer. The vote <br />to approve was unanimous. <br />Mr. Steve Harris attorney for the owners of the tract/t;fand , <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />the Developer for a proposed Apartment Complex .MX~ on land bounded <br />by Indiana Street, Hadley, Maple Lane and Washington Street properties, <br />presented forms for re-zonlng 6f the 7.4 acres from Residential A- <br />Single family to Resldentlal-B Multiple Family dwellings. Forms were <br />found to be In order by Attorney David Lawson. However, because there <br />was not a full board present, and because the re-zonlng was not heard <br />by a full board when It was presented In December and defeated by <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />a 3 - 2 vote, It was felt that a full seven (7) member board Is <br />
