<br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />June 18, 1973 <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session <br />on Monday, June 18, 1973, with the following members present: <br />Steve Edwards: Rich Keller: Bart Hensley: Dutch Fulk and Hank <br />Gajderowicz. Mr. David E. Lawson attorney for the Board was <br />also present. <br /> <br />Minutes of the last regular scheduled meeting were read <br />and approved. <br /> <br />The Commission had Docket No. 1-1973 pending as old <br />business. The petition for rezoning had been taken under <br />advisement. The petitioner and remonstrators were repre- <br />sented by their counsel, attorney Steve Harris and attorney <br />Merrill Moores, respectfully. Each of the said counsel were <br />given a five minute period to summarize their position. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Dutch Fulk to approve the rezoning <br />which motion was seconded by Hank Gajderowicz. Upon vote by <br />the Commission there were four (4) votes for approving the <br />rezoning with President Steve Edwards abstaining. <br /> <br />The next order of business was that of Docket No. 2-1973 <br />filed by Godwin Industries, Inc. on a petition for rezoning <br />Attorney Lawson indicated to the Board that the petition was <br />in due form. Mr. Richard V. Newcomer of the Mooresville Economic <br />Development Commission was present to present the petition on <br />behalf of the Commission and Godwin Industries, Inc. <br /> <br />Upon the conclusion of the evidence a motion to rezone <br />the subject real estate was made by Dutch Fulk and seconded <br />by Rich Keller: the motion was unanimously passed by the five <br />(5) Board members present. <br /> <br />The President of the Mooresville Plan Commission shall <br />submit in writing the recommendations of the Plan Commission <br />to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville at the <br />Trustees meeting on June 19, 1973. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Board <br />upon motion duly made by Dutch Fulk and seconded by Hank <br />Gajderowicz, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />,/1 "7k- p <br />i-a1/IJ1..i-r--cl.L (:1, l()(<:-vi <br />, Acting Secretary 1 <br />;' <br /> <br />~. <br />
