REPORT OF THE MOORESVILLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION CONCERNING THE PROPOSED
CONSTRUCTION AND LEASING OF ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT FACILITIES TO NICE-PAX
PRODUCTS, INC.

The Mooresville Economic Development Commission propos~.
to construct economic development facilities and lease them to
Nice-Pak Products, Inc. Such facilities will consist of a Cuckler
clear span metal building of approximately 60,000 square feet to

be used for the manufacture and storage of unit packages and offices

to be located on a site of approximately thirty-two (32) acres at

the northeast corner of the intersection of Indianapolis Road and

~

Old Highway No. 67. The site is presently adjacent to the Town of
Mooresville. The total project cost of such facilities is presently
estimated to be approximately $1,000,000.
Financing and construction of the proposed facilities
will not make necessary or desirable the financing or construction
of any public services or facilities by the Town of Mooresville or
any other municipality. A driveway across the Penn Central Rail-

road tracks will be included in the project.
The initial full operation of the proposed facilities will
create approximately fifty (50) jobs with an estimated payroll of
Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000).
This report is adopted to comply with I.C. 1971, 18-6-4.5
and to induce Nice-pak Products, Inc. to operate the facility in
the Town of Mooresville, in order to provide more employment oppor-

tunities and diversification of industry.
