INDIANA <br /> <br />\..-- <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COl1l'ITSSION STATED MEETING <br />/ <br /> <br />HELD: June 8, 1970, 7:JfJ P.M. at the Municipal Bldg. <br />PRESENT: George Worland, Winston Tackitt, Roland Superlot, Jeanne Henderson <br />and attorney Thomas 0 'Brien. <br /> <br />Minutes of the May, 1970 meeting were read, corrected & approved as corrected. <br /> <br />0llI Business: Mr. Tackitt stated that a trailer <br />property located at Indpls. Rd. & Carlisle st.. <br />and report his findings to the COIlII1I. <br /> <br />Chairman Worland read a letter to Don Ko\Uls, i'llom the Plan Comm., expressing <br />the Plan Commissions approval of the proposed 104 acre recreation par~, <br /> <br />had been illegly moved onto <br />Mr. Tackitt is to investigate <br /> <br />NEW BUSINRSS: <br />Mr. Worland said that, at atty. O'Brien's request, stated meetings <br />would be held on the third monday of tlie illonth, betinning with the July 1970 <br />meeting. <br /> <br />'-, <br /> <br />Mr. Carrell, mgr. of the Mooresville Farm Bureau Co-Op addressed the Plan <br />C omm., concerning expansion of the present facilities due to a traffic problem <br />in front of the present store and in~_d business. <br />He requested a ruling on the zoning of the lot directly west of the <br />present building. Mr. Worland consulted the zone map and stated that the lot <br />in quiestion WaJJ zoned for commercial use. <br />Mr. Carrell said that the Farm Bureau Co-Op had rented &~owned the <br />lot for at least 10 years and planned to construct a one story steel fabricated <br />bldg., approx. 50' by 80' long with 20 customer parking spaces at the east side of <br />wide <br />the bldg. and employee parking at the rear by the alley. <br /> <br />Mr. Worland said that any proposed inprovements to the lot would haVe to <br />be submitt6d to the State Highway Dept. first and then to the Mooresville Town <br />Board for final approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Worland read a letter to the State Division of Planning from the Plan <br />Comma requesting any assistance that that office might be able to give the Co,m. <br /> <br />He then read a reply fIlom the Div. of Planning stating that representatives <br />from that office would be availab3:e, upon witten request, to attend any Plan <br />Conun. meetings to inform & assist the Plan Comma <br /> <br />A letter will be sent to the Div. of Pla,;ning requesting representation <br />from that office at the Comma July meeting. <br /> <br />Mr-. Worland stated that he had been requested to appoint two members from <br />the Plan Comm. to the Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals. He said he would fill one <br />',- appointment and would appoint another BOIlllll. member and inform the Town Board. <br />
