The Minutu .,,'the previous meeting W81"e read and <br />Winston Tackitt moved the minutes be &cdepted. Bob Johnson seconded the motion <br />and the motion carried. <br /> <br />Mrs. CUrriee, 10 Sunset Manor, Mooresville, was present and presented a <br />copy of petitions, some pictures, and copy of certain acts in Barrett La8 that <br />pertained to sidewalks for the school area. She stated she had prewented the <br />same to the town board. <br />Discussion followed on sidewalk construction in those sections of town <br />that do not have any. Mr. Worland asked Mr. Loudll1"lllia.k to draw up sidewalk <br />specifications. A survey of the town as to sidewalk needs and alllO sewer neells <br />was discussed and felt that it would be a good idea. Mr. Johnson was aillEed to <br />head the 1IU1"VtIy on thue. This was to include check1ng on e.xaisting sidewalks <br />that might need repairing, also. <br /> <br />Mr. Matth8Wll, Mr. Welch, and Mr. Kellum appaared from the Citizens Bank <br />and presented receipts from registered nuoil1l1gs to adjacent property owners, <br />printe of notic.. that appeared in local n8Wllpaper, affadavitt of mailings, <br />plot plans, etc. pertaining to Docket 22 lA to 2B, 68, requested by Epalco <br />Reality for rezoning from lA to 2B of lot at 15 East Washington. <br />Mr. Worland then called for a vote .n the rezoning to be taken by secret <br />ballot. It was approved and will go to the town board for final approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Heselman presented the problem of a sub-d1vision owner wanting to .: <br />annex: to the town for sewer provisions a lot of land on North Indiana Street <br />in the North Hadley Woods area. Discussion followed and it was decided to <br />reccollllll8nd for annexation a larger area of land bound by County Line Road from <br />Ridge West general area bound by present South ......I....8j11.......I--.---- line and <br />east to State Road 67, including old 67. <br />Bob Johnson DlDVed the reccoumendation be accepted. Winston Tackitt seconded <br />and the motion carried. <br /> <br />It was suggested that Mr. Fisher secure printing of instructions and f01"lllll <br />for applying for change of variance zoning and re-zoning of property. <br /> <br />It w4s then moved by Winston Tackitt that attoney draw up an ordiance <br />specif'ying that all future construction, residential and cODllllllrcial, of property <br />facing a street or highway make provisions for conetruction of sidewalks in <br />front of their property. Dale Heselman seconded the motion and it carried. <br /> <br />Winston Tackitt J'epreaeat1ed Je.S Swinney on asking to remove two exsisting <br />houees and build one good house on property owned by him on Taylor Street. <br />He moved we accept this provided a letter be submitted to Planning Commission <br />wtating what will be torn down and what will be erected, along with a map of <br />the property. Dale Heselman seconded the motion and it carried. <br /> <br />- It was discussed that maybe the Planning Commission should ask for some <br />type of compensation, fee, or pay for the meetings and work involved in <br />serving on the Planning Commission. George Worland suggested the IIIlIlIIbers <br />think about this and possibly discuss it at a future meeting.
